A stylish new website for a professional salon.

Emma Ford Hair Design approached Blue Cow Digital with a request to design a new website to go with their salon and hair care products. Based in Ainsdale and Slough, they offer a wide choice of haircuts and styles for men and women and in addition provide pedicures, manicures, facials and spray tans.

The Design.

The new website needed to reflect the bright, modern look of the salon and present a layout that would be easy to follow on the eye and full of visuals to show off hairdressing work and much more. The layout needed to be as user friendly as possible so as to find prices, products and other information. Working off a small logo provided, the man colour palette was generated and consisted of a lovely gold and bright pink mix.

The end result is a website that looks the part. A large slider carousel with information on services and a button to book appointments is situated as the first element to hit the eye of the user serving as a quick way to draw them into interest. An ever present menu follows the user down as they browse the page and serves as a quick way to jump around the various pages.

Pricing lists, before and after shots, a gallery of haircare and products, various customer testimonials and a contact form with Google Maps and frequently asked questions all made this site come alive with functionality.

The site also works well on mobile devices allowing one to book their appointment or make an enquiry while on the go.
