Bringing a long standing fire protection company into the online fold.

H Roberts & Son Ltd. of Liverpool approached Blue Cow Digital to ask for a website overhaul as their existing build was out of date, out of touch and looked poor on mobile devices. They wanted to showcase their products and services with a modern, clean interface and keep hints of the company heritage around the website.

The previous design by layout standards was boxed and overcrowded. Many of the images and content were squeezed into tables, which caused breaks on smaller screens and broken links were found across the site.

The Design.

After reviewing the colours on the existing site it was decided to keep the red but mix with whites and greys to present a modern feel to the pages.

The end result is a major upgrade to the presentation of information and visuals. The new website ditches a boxed header image and replaces this with a wide slider carousel of images promoting their offices and fleet of vans.

Further down the page, the company badge has been lifted from the old website and popped into place before the introduction to serve as a gentle nod to the companies heritage.

Featured products are included as well as a section detailing services that the company carry out.

A list of customers showcases helps to promote the reputation and dotted around and there are numerous buttons dotted throughout the pages that allows the user to get in contact for general enquires and to show interest in products and services.
