Napier Point of Liverpool approached and commissioned us to design them a brand new website to replace their old site which had become clunky and outdated and didn’t work great on smaller screens.
Putting one of Liverpool's premier coach and bus hire companies in the hot seat.
The Design.
Almost immediately the idea was to use a stand out serif font in gold to strike home the quality of service Napier Point offered combined with some shots of the world famous city centre and waterfront.
The end result is a professional, responsive website that reflects the brand reputation and quality of service that the company provides.
Upon landing on the homepage, the user is presented with a visual interactive banner of Liverpool’s three graces with large gold serif typeface and a message below highlighting the quality and reliability of their services, followed by a button to take the user straight to making an enquiry.
Using the mouse over the banner causes the text to move around, adding a subtle but effective point of interaction.
A short page about the company offers an insight into the hire services and package that are on offer.
Examples of wedding hire cars for weddings, mini buses and coaches are all displayed in a visual interactive gallery.
A simple contact form and Google map service are integrated to allow enquiries to be sent directly to the main business email and also to fetch directions on visiting should the user wish to do so.
The end result is a professional, responsive website that reflects the brand reputation and quality of service that the company provides.
The Features.
Responsive
The website has been designed and developed with mobile devices in mind and displays on a variety of phones, tablets and small laptops.
Fixed Menu
The menu is well presented, clean and follows the user as they scroll down the page for ease of access.
Gallery
The gallery page allows users to browse through the different vehicles that can be hired so users know exactly what they are going to be travelling in.
Custom Fonts
Bold sans-serif fonts have been used across the pages to make the header elements stand out from the copy and imagery and separator glyphs add to the aesthetics surrounding the typeface. A gold serif font is used on the interactive banner to show off the company branding.
Social Media Integration
Facebook integration is utilised on the site to encourage users to start following the business and to get further information on specific services such as weddings.

An interactive banner shows off the company branding and mission statement behind a backdrop of their base of operations in the Liverpool City Region
